25-007473- 3700 BLK Fountain Ave- Found Child/ Arrest
Police were dispatched to a found child who was wandering down Fountain Avenue, naked from the waist down. Officers found the child's mother asleep and intoxicated inside her home. Police arrested the woman for Child Neglect and transported her to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

A party called in and reported that her child’s father was harassing her.
Video footage provided by the caller showed the two had a mutual verbal argument.
25-007366-4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/Arrest
Police initiated a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet S-10 after observing the driver attempting to put his seatbelt on while operating his vehicle. The operator advised he did not have a driver’s license or insurance. Police ran his information through dispatch, and he was found to be driving on revoked
for DUI.
25-007373- 5800 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Intoxicated Person/ Field Interview
Police were dispatched to this location on reports of a man who was seen slumped on a stairway. The man was sweating and complained of stomach pain. He was transported to the hospital. FI# 25-000098
Night Shift July 11: C Squad
25-007379 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Assist Other Agency
East Ridge Police Officers attempted to locate a woman at her residence. Earlier in the evening, Chattanooga Police Officers located her young child walking alone on Highway 58. After a short investigation, Chattanooga Officers arrested a male suspect and charged him with Child Neglect for the incident. East Ridge Police were unable to locate the mother at her residence but provided Chattanooga Police with her workplace information.
25-007381 – 700 BLK Frawley Road– Assist Other Agency
Deputies with the Walker County Sherrif’s Office requested a well-being check for an female who expressed suicidal thoughts. East Ridge Police found the apartment had been vacant for several weeks. Walker County Deputies eventually located the female near Chickamauga, Ga. and found she was adjusting to new medication and did not wish to harm herself.
25-007384 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder
Police responded to a disorder involving 10 to 20 juveniles in the parking lot at Camp Jordan. As officers arrived on scene, multiple juveniles were observed running from the location. Police detained five juveniles, and all stated the incident was a verbal argument. ERPD found no evidence of an assault and the juveniles were released to their parents.
25-007385 – 1200 BLK Laurelwood Drive – Suspicious Activity
The caller reported an unknown male was seen leaving her front porch through her Ring camera. Police responded to the location and found several unlocked doors at the house. In addition, a dozen roses and two packages of candy were located on the front porch. CID responded to the location,
gathered evidence, and interviewed the victim. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation.
25-007386 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person
Police responded to the report of a male yelling and jumping around in front of the business. Officers located the man, the subject of numerous calls for service, and determined he was acting out in his normal fashion. After a brief conversation, he agreed to settle down for the evening and left the area.
25-007387 – 700 BLK Belvoir Avenue – Road Hazard
ERPD responded to multiple reports of a tree lying in the roadway. Police located a large tree blocking both lanes of travel and set-up temporary detours. Street Department personnel responded to the location and removed the tree.
25-007389 – 1500 BLK East Ridge Avenue – Residential Alarm
Police responded to a residential alarm at this address. Officers checked the home, and it appeared to be secure. Police also found that no one was home, and the alarm company was unable to contact the homeowner.
25-007391 – 10 BLK Franklin Place – Domestic Disorder / Psychiatric Emergency
Police responded to a domestic disorder and determined a couple had an extensive verbal argument in their residence. Upon further investigation, it was found that one half threatened to harm themselves and was taken into protective custody and transported to a local hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
25-007392 – 800 BLK Summit Ave – Motor Vehicle Crash
Police located a white Cadillac sedan crashed in a ditch. Officers located the driver and found she went into the ditch while attempting to back out of a residential driveway. A tow truck responded to the scene and assisted the stranded motorist.
25-007390 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Arrest
Police observed a green Ford Ranger driving recklessly on Ringgold Road. The vehicle was traveling at a high-rate speed and swerved between several vehicles on the roadway. The driver received a misdemeanor citation for Reckless Driving and several traffic related citations.

25-007396 – 500 BLK Prema Drive - Disorder Prevention
Police responded to a disorder with a weapon after a man threatened to shoot his cousin over living arrangements. The caller told police she was not a resident of the home but was working at the residence. She was advised to ring the police if the suspect came back to the house.
25-007406- 3800 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest
A man was taken into custody after a call regarding his erratic driving. He was found to be driving under the influence.
25-007398 – 5300 BLK Haisten Court - Disorder Prevention
A concerned citizen stated she was going to speak with the resident of Haisten Court, demanding that they not play their music loudly while she was attempting to watch her television show. Police spoke with the residents and advised them to call police for another disorder prevention if the concerned citizen were to return.
Night Shift July 12: D Squad
25-007411 – 800 BLK Belvoir Terrace – Well Being Check
A concerned friend requested a well-being check for a woman after she was seen arguing with her husband at a social event. Police located the woman at the residence and discussed the situation. The party stated she and her husband had been arguing but she was okay and there was no physical confrontation.
25-007415 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road– Disorder
A woman reported a female in nearby apartment was stealing packages from other tenants in the apartment complex. Prior to the arrival of Police, the caller confronted the individual, and she denied stealing from anyone. Officers spoke with the resident and found all packages in her possession were addressed to her. Police determined no crime had occurred.
25-007416 – 3500 BLK Shelby Circle – Suspicious Activity
Police responded to this address after an anonymous person texted the 911 Dispatch Center and stated there was a domestic assault in progress at this address. Police found no at the home and neighbors confirmed the residents’ vehicles were not in the driveway. There were no other reports of a disorder or an assault at the address.
25-007417 – I-24 Westbound, MM 184 – Suspicious Activity
Police responded to the report of an accident on Westbound I-24. Police eventually located two damaged vehicles on the side of the road in the City of Chattanooga. East Ridge Police contacted the Chattanooga Police and determined the crash had occurred earlier in the day. The vehicles had been safely moved onto the shoulder. No further action was required.
25-007420 – 4200 BLK Greenbriar Road– Intoxicated Person / Arrest
Police responded to the report of an intoxicated ride share driver at this location. The caller stated that a driver picked him up in a white BMW and appeared intoxicated as he drove him home. Officers located the white BMW and identified the driver. Upon further investigation, the suspect was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence and Reckless Endangerment.
25-007426 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Intoxicated Person / Arrest
While searching for a BOLO vehicle, Police observed a Honda Accord with front end damage at the gas station. A male was seen standing in front of the vehicle. Officers identified the male and quickly determined he was intoxicated. While checking the vehicle, police also determined the temporary Georgia registration tag was false. The suspect was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Falsifying/Counterfeiting a Title or Registration Plate.
25-007427 – 1400 BLK St. Thomas Street– Disorder
Hotel management reported a lot of noise was coming from a particular room and they wanted the individuals to leave the motel. Police located a woman in the room with five teenagers. Upon further investigation, police determined the individuals were having a birthday party. The parents of the juveniles were contacted and advised of the situation. Each juvenile was turned over to a responsible adult prior to the departure of Police.
25-007430 – 1000 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Wellbeing Check
Police responded to the report of a male in a wheelchair in the middle of the road. It was found he had been recently released from a Chattanooga hospital. Officers assisted the man in getting out of the roadway and moved him to a nearby gas station.

25-007441 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Vandalism
The caller reported that the windshield of his mother’s Lexus was cracked when he returned from grocery shopping. Surveillance video showed a man, possibly a juvenile, exit a gold Lincoln Navigator, approach the Lexus, and intentionally crack the windshield with an unknown object. The Navigator then left the parking lot. Pending identification of the suspect(s),the caller wished to prosecute for Vandalism.
25-007438- 1000 BLK Blanton Dr.- Harassing Threats
Police spoke with a man who advised he received threatening text messages. He had visited an escort website on July 12 and inquired into how much a lady of the night would cost but did not receive an answer. However, at approximately 11:14 a.m., he received a text message from a party who stated he needed to pay $3000 for wasting his lady’s time. The caller did not respond to the text message. However, the suspect stated he would kill the reporting party’s entire family if payment was not received by the end of the day.

25-007455 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Suicide Threats
Police responded to this address after a party called a friend advising he was taking prescription medication to end his life. The subject was placed into protective custody and transported for a psychiatric evaluation.
25-007463 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Road – Open Door
Officers observed an open door at the location and conducted a thorough search of the premises. Finding no signs of disturbance or unauthorized entry, they secured the building to prevent potential theft or unauthorized access.
25-007457 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Armed Person-
Police responded to a report of an individual allegedly armed with a knife near the Emergency Room. Upon arrival, officers located the subject in the facility’s bathroom. Although he became confrontational, officers determined he was unarmed and subsequently escorted him off the premises without further incident.
Day Shift July 14: B Squad
25-007467 – 3600 BLK Fountain Ave – Disorder
ERPD was dispatched to the above address and met with a woman who stated that she wanted her boyfriend to leave the residence. She further stated he has been physically abusing her since April, and she is over it. ERPD attempted to contact the man, but he was not at the residence. She informed ERPD he was texting her saying he was walking down Fountain Avenue. ERPD
was unable to locate the man. The man eventually came to ERPD to turn himself in as he had Multiple Warrants from Johnson City. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail waiting on Extradition.
25-007468 – 900 BLK S Seminole Drive – Deceptive Practice
Police spoke by phone with the reporting party regarding fraud. She stated a collection agency is seeking $3,880.96 for a check made out to her and cashed, which she claims was fraudulently cashed. She requested a police report to support her claim.
25-007470 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue - Child Abuse
A representative for the Department of Child Protective Services reported a newborn infant tested positive for THC following its birth and requested a report for documentation.
25-007479 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment
Police met with a man regarding ongoing harassment by his estranged wife, despite an active no contact order stemming from a domestic incident in Buffalo, NY. The man, a resident of East Ridge, reported she continued to contact him about child custody. Officers advised her that child custody must be court-ordered and she is not to violate the no contact order.

25-007488 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity
The driver of a tan Dodge truck was issued a verbal warning when he used a loudspeaker to chastise another motorist on the roadway.
25-007490 – 800 BLK Belvoir Crest Drive – Shots Fired
Several gun shots in rapid succession were reported in the 800 block of Belvoir Crest Drive. Police checked the area but found no signs of shots being fired.
25-007492 – 500 BLK South Seminole Drive – Other Agency Warrant
The subject was taken into custody for a Hamilton County warrant following a traffic violation observed in East Ridge.
25-007494 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road Room 224 – Theft
A party reported his Samsung Galaxy A15 was stolen at the above location sometime between 1100 and 1200 hours on July 14.
25-007487 – 6900 BLK Tiffany Lane - Domestic Disorder
A caller reported her adult daughter was in the house yelling and cussing at her. Police determined the daughter was a mental health consumer and her mother was unbale to provide proper assistance with her daughter’s issues. The mother requested her daughter leave the premises and not return. The daughter agreed and voluntarily moved out of the residence to live with her
father. The daughter was criminally trespassed from the residence.
