Review for The Doo-Wop to Rock Show:
An innovative presentation of both music and image, The Doo-Wop to Rock Show illustrates how the national conversation has changed through the years via pop culture, fashion, and most especially, music.
Performing covers of classic hits from the seismic eras of the fifties and sixties, Warren Posternack will take the audience on a virtual “musical time machine” to relive and revive via popular music, the defining cultural force since World War II.
Host Warren Posternack began his broadcasting career with a rockabilly show on station WOPA in Oak Park, Il. in the 1970s. He subsequently DJ’d rock ‘n’ roll shows throughout the midwest, showcasing his love for classic 1950s and 60s rock ‘n’ roll.
Having lived in Chicago since birth, Warren relocated to Chattanooga 10 years ago to take advantage of warmer climes.
Admission is free and light refreshments will be provided. Don Eaves Heritage House is at 1428 Jenkins Road. For more information call 855-9474.
