Two Laws Make It Clear

  • Monday, June 30, 2025

Action on the “Big, Beautiful Bill” in the Senate has the national attention right now, but two other recent bills in the House deserve equal attention. The first, by Rep. Austin Pfluger, R-TX, makes it against the law for illegal aliens to vote in elections in DC. The vote was 266 to 148 with 56 Democrats joining Republicans. The second, by Rep. Barry Moore, R-AL, is to deport illegal aliens convicted of driving under the influence. The vote was 246 to 160 with 37 Democrats helping to pass the bill.

ICE reported that between fiscal year 2018 and 2023 over 43,000 DUI offenses were committed by illegal aliens. In 2022, 175 were arrested with multiple convictions. Some believe many are not reported due to fears of deportation. The Biden DHS chose not to keep statistics on serious injuries or deaths resulting from illegals driving intoxicated. You can, however, Google keywords and see the volume of these cases all over the country, one being right here in Chattanooga at the East Ridge tunnel, Dec. 16, 2024.

Please alert your family and friends throughout the country about candidates and the party opposed to protecting American citizens and our voting process. As we make our choices in the 2026 mid-term elections, these two votes in make it very clear.
