U.S. Army Veteran Worked As Nuclear Security Officer For TVA

Lee Allen Grandstaff, 62, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018.

He was born in Germany in 1956. He is a 60-year resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. Lee served in the United States Army as staff sergeant. Later in life, Mr. Grandstaff worked as a nuclear security officer for TVA. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his loving wife and family. 

Lee is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Eva Seay.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marilyn Lee Grandstaff; daughters, Michelle  Grandstaff and Shanna Grandstaff; step-son, Josh Wilson; step-daughters, Rachel (Tyler) Christian, Angel (Lance) Sells and Scarlett (Shane) Rutherford; and grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, Destiny, Graceleigh, Faith, Amelia, Emma, Sabrah, Stella, Lila, Edyn, Molly Mae and Shiloh.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday at the Heritage Chapel, with Dr. David Sampson officiating. Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with military honors provided by the US Army.
