Michele Pangle
Michele Elaine Ketchem Pangle, age 53, of Dalton, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Christmas Day, December 25, 2018.
Michele was born Nov. 21, 1965. She attended Dalton Public Schools and was a 1984 graduate of Dalton High School. After graduation she attended Dalton State College and West Georgia College where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and later a Master’s degree. She spent her teaching career at Tunnel Hill Elementary. Michele liked to travel and visited many foreign countries. However, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and sharing the Gospel.
She was preceded in death by her dearly beloved grandmothers Helen Armstrong Roach and Geneva Jackson Ketchem.
She is survived by her son, Zack Pangle of Rocky Face, Ga.; daughter, Stephanie Pangle and Javi Ruiz of Austin, Tx.; parents, James and Marion Ketchem of Dalton, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Jackie Ketchem of Rocky Face, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Chris Baselice of Ventura, Ca.; special friend, Jorge Neri of East Ridge, Tn.; niece, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly; other relatives and many friends including her BFF, Beth Looper.
The service to celebrate the life of Michele Elaine Ketchem Pangle will be held Sunday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Darey Kittle officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Dalton’s Greater Works at 1001S. Thornton Ave. Dalton, GA 30720.
