Dickerson, Angla Hicks "Mrs. Magoo" (Trenton)

Angla Hicks Dickerson, “Mrs. Magoo”, 62, of Trenton, died peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her home. She was a member of the New England Seven-Day Adventist Church from a very young age.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Betty Raines Hicks; and mother and father-in-law, Hilda Kilgore and William David Dickerson; sisters, Elizabeth Frazier, Robin Lee Hicks and Merry Melody Hicks; brother, Kenneth Hicks; half-brothers, James Hicks and Clyde Hicks; and half-sisters, Oprah Hicks and Elizabeth Hicks. 

Surviving include her loving husband of 33 years, David Dickerson, Trenton, aka “Turbo Roscoe Magoo”; daughter, Samantha Lynn, Rossville; son, Samuel David Dickerson, Henegar, Al.; six grandchildren, Darian, Arianna, Danny (DJ), Daniel, Adaien Lynn and Zachery Dickerson Lawson; sisters, Rhonda Syble Jura, Wildwood, Ga. and Kathy Swafford, Rossville; brothers, Hugh Jullian Hicks, Rossville and Paul Ernest Hicks, Wildwood, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 3 at 3 p.m. at New England Seven Day Adventists Church, 330 Morgan Road, Trenton. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service.
