Erlanger’s 2nd annual “Believe Bash” last month raised more than $700,000 benefitting the Believe Campaign. The 1920’s themed black tie gala, organized by co-chairs Lynda Hood and Tracie LeSar, was held at the Wilson Air Hangar and included dinner, dancing and a live auction to raise funds for the new Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center.

“We want to extend a big thank you to all those who attended our annual Believe Bash this year and supported your local Children’s Hospital,” said Julie Taylor, vice president of the Erlanger Health System Foundations. “We still haven’t completed our fundraising efforts and encourage everyone to consider making a donation to support the innovative health care this new facility will bring to the community.”

Phase one of the new Children’s Hospital at Erlanger consists of a 90,000 square foot outpatient center. "Upon completion, the CHOC will provide more than 20 pediatric subspecialties and the highest level of care to the children of the Chattanooga region," officials said.

The new facility is scheduled to open in December.
