PHOTOS: Reflection Riding On A Sunny Sunday

With all the rain and extra hot temperatures of recent weeks, Sunday was a nice change of pace wth sunny and not-too-uncomfortable temperatures.

At Reflection Riding at the foot of Lookout Mountain, nature was particularly on handsome display.
On the roughly three-mile loop, part of which was under the shade, pastures and hillsides could be seen in a lush green amid the bright blue and mostly clear sky.

A number of perennial plants and wildflowers also stood out with their mid-summer blooms on the mini-Cades Cove like acreage.

Among fauna, three horses trotted and grazed in a pasture, while some geese enjoyed the multiple ponds. Some wild turkeys could also be heard.

A few of the cabins and other historic buildings stood out on the bright day, too.
