Trustee Bill Hullander said his office will now offer auto draft as another option for paying property tax for the 2018 bills.
He said the ACH transfer can be made after the taxpayer provides a bank routing number.
Mr. Hullander said it can be used for up to five equal payments.
The ACH transfer form will be available on the trustee's website or by calling 209-7270.
The original form must be returned to the trustee's office for processing.
Mr. Hullander also said that the shift to online auction of county property for which taxes had not been paid worked out well.
In the past, there has been an auction of property at the county courthouse. In June, 175 properties were sold on the Civic Source website for $2,449,673.
That compares to $1,884,472 that was taken in the previous year by the older method. There were also more parcels available in 2017 - 201.
The trustee said, "Our online tax sale opened it up to bidders from all over the United States, including New York, Nevada, Indiana and Texas."
