Former City Fire Chief Chris Adams To Head County Emergency Management

  • Wednesday, August 8, 2018

Former Chattanooga Fire Chief Chris Adams is taking a new role with the county.

County Mayor Jim Coppinger said he has appointed him as the director of county emergency management.

That comes after Tony Reavley left the county to join BlueCross.

County Mayor Coppinger said former chief Adams had earlier joined the county in a training position after retiring at the city.

He called him "a man of vision" who was the best candidate for the post.
