Middle Valley Church Of God To Have Special Service Honoring Veterans On Nov. 10

  • Wednesday, November 6, 2019
Middle Valley Church of God, at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, announces a special service honoring veterans on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 10:30 a.m. All veterans and their families are invited to participate in this event.

The congregation of Middle Valley Church of God has been blessed to have the honor to minister to literally dozens of veterans in recent years.  Veterans from WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and various military actions including current operations around the world have been and are a part of the Middle Valley Congregation.  In 2009, a flag pole was installed in honor of community veterans as a permanent reminder of their service to our nation.

Each veteran present will be given a specially prepared gift and be given the opportunity to tell of their military career.  Retired Navy Chaplain Bobby Williams will offer a sermon of encouragement for our veterans present.

All veterans their families are invited to participate in this special time.

Further information is available by contacting Pastor Mitch McClure at 423 843-1539.
