Joe Graham Says "Don't Let Jenny Hill & David Sharpe Close Our Schools"

  • Tuesday, December 3, 2019

Former County Commissioner Joe Graham said an "urgent" meeting has been set for Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Lookout Valley Middle/High School.

A sign posted on a fence at the school says, "Don't let Jenny Hill & David Sharpe close our schools."

A recent facilities plan for the county schools recommends closing or consolidating Lookout Valley Elementary School, among other schools.

Mr. Graham was defeated by Mr. Sharpe in the most recent County Commission race.

The sign also includes a reference to the UnifiEd group, which supported Mr. Sharpe over Mr. Graham in the last election.
