Fleischmann Welcomes Participation In 2019 Congressional Art Competition

  • Tuesday, February 19, 2019

Congressman Chuck Fleischmann announces the Third District of Tennessee’s participation in the 2019 Congressional Art Competition.

“Last year I was blown away by the artistic talents of East Tennesseans, and that is why I have decided to host the Congressional Art Competition for another year,” said Congressman Fleischmann. “All high school students in the Third Congressional District are welcome to participate in the 2019 Congressional Art Competition. The first place winner will receive round-trip airfare for the national awards ceremony in Washington and be eligible to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol building for one year for all visitors to admire.”

Artwork entries will be accepted March 11-22 in Congressman Fleischmann’s District Offices, with the final deadline being March 22 at 5 p.m.
