Martha McGillis Perry
Martha McGillis Perry, 30, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died Thursday, July 19, 2019.
She was a very devoted and caring mother; her greatest pride was her son, Grant. Martha was a graduate of Memorial High School in Houston, Texas and had CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certificate from Chattanooga State. She worked at Diagnostic Cardiology Group in Chattanooga as a medical assistant. Martha was very active at her son’s school, Normal Park Elementary. She was a kind, sweet, funny and thoughtful woman, and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her son, Grant Thomas Perry; parents, Bruce and Barbara Perry; and siblings, Jay (Emily) Perry, Elizabeth Perry, Katharine Perry, and Robert Perry.
A private family service will be held Tuesday, July 23, at 3 p.m. in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 23, from 1-3 p.m.
