TDOT contract crews have completed the repairs on U.S. 41 in Marion County that required the roadway to be closed to traffic. U.S. 41 is now open to one lane and traffic flow will be managed by use of temporary signals for the duration of the slope stabilization project that is currently underway.

The contractor for the $16.5 million slope stabilization project is Dement Construction Company, LLC, and the estimated completion date is November.

Repairs are being made on four separate sites along a 1.2 mile stretch of U.S. 41 between log miles 25.2 and 26.4.
