Richard “Rick” Edwin Elliott, 68, of McDonald, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. 

Rick always had a smile on his face and he never met a stranger. You would often find him with a Dr. Pepper in his hand or collecting golf balls. He loved watching the Tennessee Vols and the Atlanta Braves and spending time with his grandmother, Hattie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Patsy Elliott, sister, Diedra “Dee Dee” Elliott and grandmother, Hattie Elliott. 

Surviving are his brother, David (Tricia) Elliott, sister, Lori Wright, several nieces and nephews and one great niece. 

The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, in the funeral home with Pastor Michael Bradley officiating. Interment will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
