Man, 72, Struck And Killed While Crossing Rossville Boulevard On Tuesday Night

A 72-year-old man was struck and killed while crossing Rossville Boulevard on Tuesday night.
 
At approximately 8:28 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic/DUI Unit responded to a pedestrian struck call at 4211 Rossville Blvd.
 
Police said the pedestrian was crossing Rossville Boulevard outside of any crosswalk or intersection.
 
A vehicle was traveling south on Rossville Boulevard when it struck the pedestrian, who was in a lane of travel.
 
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
