Coyote Cuts About 25 Employees At Its Chattanooga Office

  • Saturday, February 8, 2020

Coyote Logistics, a UPS subsidiary, on Friday laid off about 25 employees in its Chattanooga office, Freightwaves reported.

Coyote has acquired the highly successful Chattanooga-based Access America in 2014.

The move comes at a time of major personnel reductions in the freight industry, according to Freightwaves, which reports on logistics and transportation news.

However, some other transportation firms are still hiring and Coyote workers may land there.

Chattanooga is also the home of two major transportation companies - US Xpress and Covenant Transport.
