Mattie Bell Pass, 96, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

 

Mattie was born in Gladeville, Tn., to the late Walter and Nola Robbins. She graduated from Lebanon High School and received her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee. Mattie was a retired school teacher having taught at G. Russell Brown Elementary School for over 16 years. She was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church.   

 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Thomas Pass, and a brother, Martin Robbins.

 

Mattie is survived by her son, David Pass; daughter, Diane Kline; five grandchildren, Nola (Randall) Webber, Virginia Larry, William Drew (Ashley) Larry, Brenda (Charles) Cooper, and  Ashley Kline; five great grandchildren, Drew and Cam Larry, Charlie and Iva Cooper, and Aubree Kline; sister, Sarah Cantrell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, June 26, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.  

 

Private graveside services for the family will follow on Friday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
