Bobby Dye
Bobby A. Dye, 86, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025.
Born on June 18, 1938, Bobby lived a full and generous life, deeply devoted to his family and loved by many. Bobby served his country in the U.S. Army from January 1959 to July of 1965 with a Letter of Appreciation for Expert Badge (Rifle) and Sharpshooter Badge (Carbine) and was a mechanic and cook in the military. He worked for Eightco as a warehouse supervisor for 32 years.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Mildred Dye; his wife of 61 years, Jane Dye; his siblings, Roy, Faye, Ronnie, and Jimmy.
He is survived by his children, Gene (Annette) Dye, and Judy (Thomas) Brooks; grandchildren, Montica (Jonathan) Modesto, Tyler Brooks, and Hayley Brooks; three beloved great-grandchildren, Jason, Joseph, and Adelina; his brother, Ray (Paula) Dye; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Bobby will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family and his love for classic country music and western movies. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he nurtured and the memories he created with each of them.

A gathering of family and friends to honor Bobby’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 14, from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
