Inglis, Sylvia Joyce (Cleveland)

Sylvia Joyce “Joy” Inglis, 78, of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, and was a member of First Lutheran Church. She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She had a lifelong passion of sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Almeada Pierce Brown; brothers, Jerry and Eddie Brown; and sisters, Judy Crump and Alma Teague.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Maurice Inglis; son, Eric Inglis; daughter, Teresa Thompson; brothers, Joe (Joyce) Brown and Dewey (Mona Kay) Brown; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her puppy, Grin.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held in the Sunset Memorial Gardens at noon on Thursday, Sept. 3.
