Georgia Has 105 New Coronavirus Deaths; 5,969 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Thursday there have been 105 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 11,511.

There were 5,969 new cases, as that total reached 701,308 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 47,680, 369 more than Wednesday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 4,151 cases, up 26; 45 deaths; 174 hospitalizations, up 2

Chattooga County: 1,856 cases, up 6; 49 deaths; 127 hospitalizations

Dade County: 898 cases, up 7; 8 deaths; 43 hospitalizations, up 1

Walker County: 4,755 cases, up 27; 61 deaths, up 1; 198 hospitalizations, up 4

Whitfield County: 12,898 cases, up 123; 156 deaths; 625 hospitalizations, up 13
