Retired From Moccasin Bend Hospital After 23 Years

Mary Helen Couch, 82, of Rossville, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

Mary was born April 16, 1938 in Chattanooga, to the late William O. and Mary Prince Couch. She was raised by her father and late step-mother, Nellie Couch. Mary was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area before retiring to North Georgia. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her family dearly. She retired from Moccasin Bend Hospital after 23 years of service.

Mary is survived by her sisters Alice Petty, Chattanooga, Barbara Couch, Rossville, Wanda Boleen, Rossville, and Phyllis Haskins, Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside services celebrating the life of Mary Couch will take place 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, at Chattanooga Memorial Park with Mary’s niece Erica McCarty officiating.
