Sarah Stephens
The Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce announced Sarah Stephens as director of Communications and Marketing. Her first day with the chamber was Jan. 4.
Mike Griffin, chamber president and CEO, said, “We’re very excited to have Sarah on our team here at the chamber.
We had several excellent candidates for the position, but Sarah’s strong public relations and communications skills plus her chamber experience made her a perfect fit. I look forward to her getting to know our members and helping us carry out our goals in the community.”
Ms. Stephens brings more than 15 years of marketing communications experience to the role. Most recently, she worked as the communications manager for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., where she focused on public relations and community engagement strategy. Prior to Myrtle Beach, Ms. Stephens was the marketing communications specialist for Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation in Supply, N.C., where she was responsible for an integrated membership communications strategy. Originally from the Tennessee Valley, she has a solid understanding of the region’s business community, having previously worked in marketing communications roles with the Chattanooga Airport Authority and Mueller Company.
Ms. Stephens is a 2005 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She and her husband, Brandon, have three sons, Nate, Adam and Tyler.
