Deborah Peavey
Deborah Annette Douglas Peavey, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at her residence.
She was a graduate of Riverside High School. She was formerly employed by Memorial Hospital and was a member of E. Third Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Alfonzo Peavey; parents, Lee Elmo and Caroline Douglas, Sr; son, Michael Cooper.
Survivors include her sons, Timothy Douglas and Zarious Peavey; daughters, Chasity Douglas Jackson (Darrel Hambrick, Sr.) and Georgetta Peavey; and brothers, Coleman Douglas and George Douglas.
Deborah will lie in state on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 1-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. as the eulogist.
Burial will be on Monday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
