Diana Lynn Westmoreland Stephens
Diana Lynn Westmoreland Stephens, 56, was born April 15, 1965, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools System. She worked for McKee Foods and CCA Silverdale for many years. Diana accepted the Lord at a very young age. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church.
Among those who preceded her in death were her mother, Lucille Black; grandmother, Estelle Richardson; brother, Gary Black; sister, Angela Westmoreland Lanier; cousin, Linda Walker; several uncles and aunts.
Diana departed this earthly life on Saturday, Oct. 23, at her residence surrounded by loved ones.
Those cherishing her memories include her daughter, Tamika Burks (Frank), of Chattanooga; son Vincent Nelson (Melissa), of New York; father, James Westmoreland, Sr.; grandmother, Annie Ruth Sanders; brother, James (Angelia) Westmoreland, Jr.; sisters, Brenda Smith and Saundra Westmoreland; a very special aunt, Leila Bell Woodley; grandchildren, Nautica Ramsey, Aurello Ramsey, Gazelle Champion, and Dice’ana Nelson, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and other relatives, and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, followed by a 1:30 p.m. funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home.
Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
