Georgia COVID Deaths Increase By 18 And 1,138 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Tuesday there have been 18 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 25,990.

There are 1,138 new cases on Tuesday, as that total reaches 1,299,629 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 90,983, which is an increase of 142 since Monday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 8,715 cases, up 13; 98 deaths; 323 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 3,770 cases, up 1; 91 deaths; 258 hospitalizations

Dade County: 1,891 cases, up 7; 18 deaths; 72 hospitalizations

Walker County: 9,996 cases, up 26; 129 deaths, up 1; 398 hospitalizations, up 2

Whitfield County: 19,669, up 15; 328 deaths; 968 hospitalizations
