Hamilton County Has No New COVID Deaths, 37 More Cases; Tennessee Has 9 More Deaths

Hamilton County had 37 new coronavirus cases reported on Wednesday, bringing the total to 45,877.

There have been no more deaths from the virus, and the total is at 510 in the county.  

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 44,997, which is 98 percent, and there are 370 active cases. 

There are 19 patients hospitalized and 10 in intensive care units. Three more are hospitalized with suspected COVID. There are eight Hamilton County inpatients.

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 872,362 on Wednesday with 816 new cases. There were nine more deaths reported, for a total of 12,625, State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 314 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 33 more than on Tuesday. Testing numbers are above 8.274 million across the state.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 854,964, which is 98 percent.

Bradley County:  15,365 cases, up 7; 155 deaths

Grundy County: 1,808 cases, down 1; 35 deaths

Marion County: 3,282 cases, up 1; 49 deaths

Meigs County: 1,435 cases, up 3; 24 deaths

Polk County: 2,117 cases; 24 deaths

Rhea County: 4,398 cases, up 3; 82 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,771 cases, up 2; 29 deaths

Knox County: 52,351 cases, up 43; 651 deaths, up 3 

Davidson County: 90,858 cases, up 95; 953 deaths

Shelby County: 100,073 cases, up 165; 1,706 deaths, up 2
