Collegedale Hosts National Night Out

The Collegedale Police Department announces their participation in the annual National Night Out campaign on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 6-9 p.m.

National Night Out is nationally sponsored by NATW (National Association of Town Watch), New York Life, Starbucks, AT&T, Academy Sports and co-sponsored locally by the Collegedale Police Department and Mission BBQ.

"National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safe, more caring places to live and work.
Together, we are making that happen," officials said.

Chief Jack Sapp said, “National Night Out is a campaign that allows our community and the nation to stand together and promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity. When we work 
together and build on our police-community partnerships, some pretty great things happen.”
