Morris E. Pillars, 85, of Chattanooga, TN, died on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
He was born in Reed City, MI to the late Tomas and Clara Marie Nelson Pillars. Morris had been a resident of Chattanooga for over 20 years. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Morris was a member of the Old Eastdale Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Alma Kinzalow Pillars, who died on August 13, 2021, and his brother-in-law, Sonny Kinzalow.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Eva Kinzalow Goza, Lookout Mountain, GA; special nephews, Christopher Prince and his wife Laura, of Lookout Mountain, GA and Keevin Prince of Mineral Bluff GA; brother-in-law, Andrew “Andy” Kinzalow and his wife, Peggy, of Ringgold, GA; sister-in-law, Theresa Kinzalow of Soddy-Daisy, TN; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Tyner Cemetery with Andy Kinzalow giving the Eulogy.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
