Lula Lake Land Trust Announces 7th Annual Hike Bike Brew Beer Festival

  • Friday, February 11, 2022

Lula Lake Land Trust on Friday announced the organization’s 7th annual Hike Bike Brew, a beer festival in Chattanooga where brews meet the outdoors. This fundraiser will take place on Saturday, May 14, from 1-5 p.m. and attendees can expect the exclusive, unique experience of brews in nature. This signature beer festival assists the land trust in raising funds as well as awareness for conservation initiatives, such as hemlock preservation, and trail-building efforts.

Hike Bike Brew takes place at the LLLT Core Preserve on Lookout Mountain. Each ticket is an adventure waiting to happen, said officials. Attendees can hike or bike the "Beer Path loop" leading them to the famous Lula Lake and Lula Falls, while stopping for beer tasters along the way. This event offers beer from 10 breweries: Chattanooga Brewing Company, Wanderlinger Brewing Company, Naked River Brewing Company, Five Wits Brewing Company, Back Forty Beer Company, Big River Brewing Company, OddStory Brewing Company, Hutton & Smith Brewing Company, Dalton Brewing Company and Cherry Street Brewing. Tickets also include snacks from Frothy Monkey, Tremont Tavern and Pie Slingers Pizzeria.

“Hike Bike Brew continues to be a critical fundraiser for Lula Lake,” says Matthew Hubbard, director of Development for LLLT. “With the utmost gratitude for all sponsors and beer-lovers, we’re able to raise significant funds in the most fun way possible – raising a brew in the heart of nature for a good cause.”

Stanley is providing one-of-a-kind souvenir pint cups for the 2022 festival. A limited number of Early Bird Drinker Tickets are now available through the end of February for $55. These tickets include beer, souvenir cup, snacks, and access to beer path trail loop. Drinker Tickets will be $65 starting March 1, $75 starting April 1. Non-Drinker Tickets are $35 per person and includes snacks and trail loop access. Ticket purchasing and more information can be found online at www.LulaLake.org/Events

The 2022 Hike Bike Brew: Lula Lake Beer Festival is presented by Stanley and Elley. The event is sponsored by Audi Chattanooga, Village Volkswagen of Chattanooga and First Horizon Bank.
