Anna Pat Cyrus, 64, of Clarksville, passed away on April 25, 2025, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.

She was born in Dayton on Sept. 20, 1960.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Cyrus; and her father, Clyde Theodore Smith, and her brother, Clyde Theodore “Teddy” Smith II.

Anna Pat was raised in Dayton, living in Hixson all of her adult life before moving to Clarksville in 2024. She graduated from Rhea Central High School, and retired after 20 years from State Farm Insurance as a claims agent. She loved her two dachshunds, Katie Collins and Ava Smith, and visiting the beach.

She is survived by her three first cousins, Billy Frank (Elaine) Smith, Jr. of Paducah, KY, Shan (Susan) Smith and Melba (Charles) Dowdy, both of Clarksville.

Graveside funeral services for Anna Pat will be held on Tuesday, April 29, at 11 a.m. at Rhea Memory Gardens with Rev. Jim Woychuk officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her grandparents who helped raise her along with her father.
