Roddey Michael Coe Can Get The Job Done

  • Friday, April 8, 2022

I'd like to express my support for Roddey Michael Coe for the Hamilton County District 10 School Board seat.

Roddey has consistently shown that he can get the job done.  His experience ranges from gubernatorial board appointee to former vice president of the Chattanooga Autism Center to legislative advocate working in Nashville to support students with disabilities in the Tennessee education system.

Rep. Carter and Senator Gardenhire relied on Roddey to help introduce and pass “Take Me Home” legislation, protecting non-communicative individuals when involved with law enforcement.

Governor Haslam had enough confidence in Roddey that he appointed him to the TN Council on Developmental Disabilities and the TN Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Roddey’s dedication to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is what sets him apart.  He is a take charge guy who can get things done, with the humility of someone who knows that his role is to serve the people.  Roddey’s allegiance is to what is just, not what is expedient, easy or in his self-interest.

Roddey is a U.S. veteran and most importantly a dad with kids in our school system.  He can be tough when needed, but also bring a soft touch when it’s called for.  Roddey is a driven leader and would be an asset to our schools.

I urge you to vote for Roddey Coe for District 10 of the Hamilton County School Board.
