Adult And 2 Children Escape House Fire Early Friday Morning

The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to a house fire early Friday at 2 a.m. in the 2100 block of East 28th Street. The fire was caused by candles.

One adult and two children were home at the time and all got out safely.

The fire caused significant damage to the interior of the house.

The American Red Cross will be assisting the family.
