The Zoe & Cloyd Trio

The WoodSongs Dalton Concert Series is back after a two-year pandemic hiatus.

Family-friendly live music will again take place in 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church in the heart of historic Dalton Georgia.

The first show is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. and will feature the Zoe & Cloyd Trio.

The music of the Zoe and Cloyd Trio is an amalgam of traditional Appalachian music, bluegrass, jazz and a little klezmer thrown in for good measure.

The concert will benefit the DEO Clinic.

"Now in its 18th year, the not-for-profit medical clinic has provided thousands of office visits to the underserved members of our community," officials said. "DEO receives no state or federal government monetary support and depends on grants and the generosity of local donors and businesses."

Contributions from each concert will be matched up to $2,500 by Modern Woodmen of America.

The concert will take place at the First Presbyterian Church, 101 S. Selvidge St. in Dalton. Advance tickets $20; at the door $24. Early Bird Season Tickets on sale at http://woodsongsdalton.com/.
