Steven Nicholas Sharpe of Hixson, Tennessee, went to be with our Lord on December 2, 2023, at the age of 45.

Steven was born on March 20, 1978, to Saundra and Larry Sharpe in Soddy Daisy. He grew up at Burks United Methodist Church and was a long-time member at Hixson United Methodist Church. Steven was a 1996 graduate of The Baylor School and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Western Governors University.

Steven is survived by his parents Larry and Saundra Sharpe; his wife Lindsey Sharpe; children Molly and McKenzie and Grandmother Jamie Sharpe as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and a niece. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Sharpe; his paternal grandfather Eugene Sharpe: His maternal grandparents Jim and Shirley Windham, and Lerlene Windham.

Steven was best known for his quick wit and sarcasm, but he was also a skilled writer, a gifted speaker, strong leader, and deeply compassionate toward those he loved.

Steven was the principal broker for Keller Williams Chattanooga-East Brainerd Realty and was currently serving as President for the Greater Chattanooga Realtors. He recently received honorable mention for the National Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award for the work he and his wife have done with founding Camp Horizon in 2005, an overnight camp for kids with physical disabilities.

Visitation will be at Hixson United Methodist (5301 Old Hixson Pike, Hixson) church on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 4-7 p.m. with a Memorial Service at Camp Lookout (3130 Hwy. 157, Rising Fawn, Ga.) on Friday Dec. 8, at 4:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to Camp Horizon and/or education fund for Molly and McKenzie. Checks can be made out to Camp Horizon and mailed to 5876 Sunset Canyon Dr., Hixson TN 37343 or Venmo @camphorizon. Education fund checks need to be made out separately to Molly Sharpe and McKenzie Sharpe and can be mailed to 5876 Sunset Canyon Dr., Hixson, TN 37343 or Venmo @Lindsey-Sharpe-5 with a note for education fund.
