Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. welcomed Brian Eftink as the newest shareholder of the firm.

"His recent role as regional general counsel to one of our area's largest employers afforded him the unique opportunity to handle complex local and multinational issues on a daily basis," said President and Managing Shareholder Mark Cunningham. "He has walked in the clients' shoes and has the ability to view intricate legal and business-related issues from the client's perspective."

Mr. Eftink's innate business perspective allows him to assist clients with legal issues from their point of view. With his prior experience, Mr. Eftink is able to provide advice to clients, no matter the company's size or complexity. His background in corporate matters and regulatory investigations, the negotiation of various business transactions, construction law, state and local tax, real estate, antitrust issues, and incentive negotiations, coupled with his protracted litigation and arbitration experience, gives Mr. Eftink an additional layer of appreciation concerning the value of properly-drafted contracts and the ability to think outside of the box when presenting business solutions. He also has experience negotiating and drafting financial structures and agreements for new and expanding businesses. His clients seek his counsel for his thorough understanding of the internal corporate environment and his sensitivity to each client's perspective, said officials.

Prior to joining Chambliss, Mr. Eftink served as regional general counsel for Wacker Chemical Corporation, a global chemical manufacturing company. In this position, he oversaw multifaceted U.S. legal matters, including a multiphase greenfield investment of more than $2.5 billion, an expansion project totaling more than $100 million, the creation and implementation of the company's legal procedures and policies, and the negotiation of international sales agreements, trade issues, and dispute resolutions.

Mr. Eftink holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Spanish and a law degree, both from Vanderbilt University. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Georgia.
