Denham, Lynda Ann (Cleveland)

Lynda Denham, 74, Cleveland, passed away at home on Wednesday March 22, 2023. She was a beloved daughter, mother and grandmother.

Lynda was an auction loving, yard sale hunting, “sucker for a good sale.” She had the biggest heart for helping others, and an incredible faith. She was a lover of all animals and children. She will forever be missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Hawkins; former husband, R.C. Denham; brother, Steven Hawkins; and grandsons, Andrew Malone, Zachary Lorency and Ryan Schwartz.

Survivors include her mother, Della Russell (Matt), of Ocoee; former husband, Terry Thompson; children, Melissa Lane (Scott), of Cleveland, James Giles (Joy), Brian Thompson (Celeste), of Cleveland and Rosie Shope (Ryan); grandchildren, Patrick Brown, Ethan Lane, James Thompson, Jeremiah Thompson, Cassidy and Emily Shope, and Sarah Turner; and six great-grandchilren.

Lynda’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with Reverend Paul Fox officiating.

A gathering of her family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 25 from 2-3 p.m., prior to the service.
