The fourth ranked Dalton State men shot the second-best round of the day in the final round, but couldn't cut the deficit enough and had to settle for second as Coastal Georgia hung on for the team tournament win in the Monument Golf Oldfield Classic at Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, S.C.

Trevor Bassett and Gavin Noble each shot 2-under 70 to carry the Roadrunners with Steve Kibare carding a 1-over 73. Brock Hoover and Cole Wentworth both shot 5-over 77 as the 4th counting score.

Play was suspended due to darkness following a weather delay late in the afternoon that saw the 2nd round completed early on Day 2. Bassett continued his hot play with an even-par 72 to hold a top-10 spot as Kibare matched him with 72 (E) to move up the leader board.
