Diana Perry

On Friday August 4, 2023, God took the precious loving Diana Crawford Perry, at the age of 59, to enter the Pearly gates to her Heavenly home. God knew he needed this amazing lady for giving and sharing her loving heart.

Diana was born as a twin on July 8, 1964, and was a resident of Jasper, Tennessee. She was married to her loving husband, Dwight Perry and was a mother to Jake and Josh Weeks. She was of the Christian faith and loved her Lord and Savior. Diana’s faith was shown clearly to her family, friends and anyone that crossed her path. She was a loving mother figure to everyone that she met. She was a 1982 graduate of Marion County High School. For the last 20 plus years, Diana served as the Director of Probation and DUI Instructor for Southeast Tennessee Human Resources. Diana made an enormous impact on the counties she served and the people she encountered in her career. She made a difference in many people’s lives. Diana was very affectionate and was well known as “Big Hair”. She had a personality that was larger than life that matched her hair style. As she would tell you “The bigger the hair the closer she was to God”. She always had a large smile on her face and the most contagious laugh. Diana loved vacationing at the beach, and she had a love for flowers. Diana loved her family and life with all her heart and was a fierce advocate for everyone, especially children. To know Diana was to love her. She never met a stranger; her humor was known worldwide…from childhood to classroom to courtroom and anywhere else you met her. She always put others before herself. Diana worshipped her grandchildren, which were her world. Diana was a soul that will be deeply missed by everyone. She has left a legendary trail that no one will ever be able to follow.

Waiting with open arms at the gates of Heaven to meet Diana were her parents, George Crawford and Marie Lyons Crawford along with brothers-in-law, Ronald Kerr, Mikey McCullough and mother-in-law, Nancy Perry.

Diana leaves all of her loving memories to her husband, Dwight Perry; sons, Josh (Jennifer) Weeks; Jake (Lacey) Weeks; brothers, Randy (Mary Beth Crawford), Zachery (Beth) Crawford; sister, Joyce Kerr; twin sister, Joanna McCullough; grandchildren, Bryce, Brody, Macie, and Lucas Weeks; several nieces, nephews aunts, uncles and other special friends.
