James Wesley Mack, III., was born on August 23, 1978, to Debra Johnson-Dave and James Wesley Mack, Jr., in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was called home by God on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charlie Johnson and Robert Billups and his grandmother, Bobbie Joe Mack., great uncle, Edgar Joe Knight, and cousin, Tracy Lovell Jackson.

James was known to his loved ones and friends as “Mack”. He had a big personality, great sense of humor, and a heart that made everyone feel welcome. Mack found the love of Jesus at an early age and never missed an opportunity to tell you about it. He was educated within the Hamilton County School system where he attended Brainerd High School.

Mack is survived by his father, James Wesley Mack, Jr. and mother, Debra (Reginald) Dave, grandmother, Elizabeth Billups, Great Aunt, Maria Watley, Aunts, Josephine (James) Odom and Mary Wright, uncles, Amos (Martinique) Williams and Montale (Sharon) Johnson, his sister, Shayla Dave, cousins, James (Tequella) Odom. III, Jamie Williams, Libra Jackson, Marcus Billups, Harold Evans and a host of other relatives, friends, and the Meade Circle family.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at Lakewood Memory Gardens East on Monday, May 5, at 11 a.m.
