Jimmy Allgood
Chattanooga native Jimmy Allgood was nominated in April for three categories at the International Singer Songwriters Association Awards. He made it as a finalist in all three categories because of thousands of voters all over the world.
He was nominated for USA Male Vocalist of the Year, USA Male Single of the Year and USA Male Rising Star.
The awards show was held Saturday at Sandy Springs Performing Arts Museum in Atlanta, where the BMI awards are also held.
Mr. Allgood walked away with two awards, USA Male Single of the Year Bronze Award for his hit single Moving On, and the USA Male Vocalist of the Year Gold Award, the biggest award of all.
The ISSA is supporting and serving independent artists, and encouraging aspiring and professional singers and songwriters in all genres of music worldwide.
