LBMC announces Nicole Jeppesen, shareholder, as leader of the firm’s Chattanooga market.

Ms. Jeppesen joined LBMC in 2015 and has more than 18 years of experience in public accounting, focusing on tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals and families, their related investment entities and trusts and closely held businesses and their owners. Prior to taking on the Chattanooga market leader role, Ms. Jeppesen served as leader of LBMC’s Chattanooga tax practice.

The leadership announcement follows the promotions of Steve Thomason and Janet Neighbors to managing director, the retirement of Dennis Blanton and the expansion of the LBMC Chattanooga High Net Worth team to meet the growing needs of clients in the Chattanooga market and across the region.

LBMC’s Chattanooga office serves middle market business clients in the manufacturing & distribution, transportation, healthcare and real estate space, as well as high net worth families and business owners, many of whom go back generations.
In addition to tax and audit advisory services, LBMC’s Chattanooga office has local professionals specializing in transaction advisory services, as well as professionals representing LBMC Employment Partners.

“I am honored to step into the Chattanooga market leader role and look forward to continue building relationships while educating the Chattanooga community on the wide range of solutions and services that LBMC offers,” said Ms. Jeppesen. “As a trusted advisor to clients, I enjoy nothing more than helping them with the challenges they face in their current financial affairs and planning for their futures. I am excited to be a part of the momentum in Chattanooga, making connections with advisors and leaders in the community in order to problem solve for our clients and serve as a partner in the region’s growth.”

A CPA, Ms. Jeppesen holds her B.A. from Eastern Michigan University and attended San Francisco State University’s Graduate Program in accounting and business administration. A Tennessee resident for 20 years, Ms. Jeppesen is active in the Chattanooga community and is involved in many professional and civic organizations, including Girls Inc. of Chattanooga, The Hunter Museum Chairman’s Circle, The Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga, Chattanooga Tax Practitioners, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute.

“As leader of Chattanooga’s tax practice and an expert with unmatched experience and strong relationships, Nicole has demonstrated her unwavering commitment to our clients, colleagues and the Chattanooga community. We look forward to seeing our Chattanooga office and LBMC’s partners continue to thrive under her leadership,” said CEO Jeff Drummonds.
