The Hotel Chalet at 92 Choo Choo Ave. has accommodations in both train carriages and hotel rooms and suites. The previous Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel has been renovated in phases and at the completion of each stage, the owners have applied for and received permits to sell beer in the different areas as they open up. The renovations are now complete and the third time coming to the beer board was an application to get a beer license for the hotel’s entire property. The hotel will be able to offer beer where food is sold including the Appalachian Bistro Elsie’s Daughter, the parlor and patio, the pool area, courtyard and the lobby that serves as a lounge in the early evenings. This beer permit is for the redeveloped hotel which has a different owner than the gardens and the terminal building.
