Bicyclist Found Dead Near Edwards Point Identified As Lawrence Jeffrey Lipcsey

A bicyclist was found dead near Edwards Point on Waldens Ridge on Monday afternoon. He was identified as Lawrence Jeffrey Lipcsey.

Emergency personnel were initially sent out around 4 p.m. in search of a missing bicyclist.

Units then set up for recovery of the body at the edge of the nearby bluff.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and other agencies were involved in the recovery operation.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.

Waldens Ridge Emergency Services and Hamilton County STARS assisted with the recovery.
