Officers Vehicle Pursuit Leads To Foot Chase, Arrest - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

Night shift officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. Officers located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. After a short pursuit, the driver wrecked and ran on foot. The individual was caught and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, felony evading arrest, evading arrest on foot, failure to maintain lane, failure to use a turn signal, failure to obey a traffic device, license required, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and simple possession of a schedule VI drug.
 
A concerned citizen reported that the pond near the 5000 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road was "bubbling suspiciously." Officers did not find anything suspicious.

A crash occurred in the Walmart parking lot, which then sparked an argument between the parties involved. Officers arrived and restored the peace, and both parties declined any police action.

A citizen in the 5000 block of Little Debbie reported a suspicious individual knocking on their door and claiming to be a police officer. After watching a doorbell cam, it turned out to be the apartment complex's courtesy officer.

Officers made consensual contact with an individual in the 5000 block of Little Debbie Parkway. A brief investigation led to the individual getting arrested for possession of a Schedule VI drug and an active warrant for embezzlement through Hamilton County.

 

A report of possible child abuse was taken in the south district.


Officers were conducting a business check at Walmart. Officers located a vehicle registered to a fugitive with felony warrants for aggravated assault and domestic assault. The individual was taken into custody without incident.

Officers responded to a fire alarm in the 4600 block of Tuckaway Lane. Officers arrived and discovered that the system was under testing.

A report of lost property was taken in the 5200 block of Apison Villas Circle.

A Collegedale fugitive was taken into custody on an active Collegedale warrant.

A two-vehicle crash was reported in the 9100 block of Integra Hills Lane.

An individual was arrested for failure to appear after arriving late for Collegedale Municipal Court.

A traffic stop in the 8400 block of Apison Pike resulted in the driver being issued a citation for simple possession of narcotics. The passenger was found to have four Hamilton County Warrants and was taken into custody by deputies.

East Ridge officers requested a K9 on a traffic stop in the 5700 block of Ringgold Road. K9 Krino was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics. A search resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

A Bradley County fugitive was apprehended in the 9300 block of Lee Highway.
