Vivian Lozano
La Paz Chattanooga announced today the promotion of Vivian Lozano from director of social impact to chief operating officer.
Ms. Lozano joined the team at La Paz in 2012 as a client services coordinator and has held numerous roles within the organization since that time. "During her 12 years at La Paz, Ms. Lozano has played a critical role in all aspects of La Paz’s programming and advocacy efforts for Chattanooga’s Latino community," officials said.
“Vivian has been a dedicated and impactful member of our team, and we’re proud to have watched her career grow and flourish alongside our organization,” said La Paz CEO Stacy Johnson.
“I am proud not only of Vivian and her individual accomplishments, but also of our board and community supporters who enable us to hire and retain great talent by offering continued career development and competitive benefits within our organization.”
Officials said, "The COO role is new to the organization and will position La Paz for continued growth. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, overseeing partnerships and new initiatives and supervising all case managers. Additionally, the COO fosters critical community, philanthropy, corporate and industry partnerships essential for organizational growth and sustainability, among other responsibilities."
“As COO, I’ll play a bigger role in strategizing for the organization, collaborating with partners and building a stronger team and organization overall,” Ms. Lozano said. “I have always been proud of the work that I have done at La Paz, and I am so happy to have a new opportunity for continued growth and new responsibilities.”
