The Briars
The Briars

On the first Friday in June, the Briars, a Chattanooga based duo will be performing at the Cohutta General Store. This husband-and-wife Americana group composed of Jerris and Robert Lovett has performed at numerous festivals and venues in the Southeast and recently at the Chattanooga Nightfall concert series.

They are always well-received in live appearances, and have received radio acclaim on WUTC’s “River City Sessions”, multiple “Live at the Library” sessions on the same Chattanooga station, and international appreciation on internet radio.

Their first full length album, "Feet", showcases their abilities as writers and performers, and brings life and color to the different styles of their songs.

The Cohutta General Store is at 317 Wolfe St. The free concert will begin at 6 p.m.
