Lookouts Fall To Smokies 6-3

After an impressive stretch of starting pitching from the Lookouts staff this past week starter Jose Franco laid an egg on Tuesday night in the opening game of their series hosting Knoxville. He was tagged for six runs on seven hits in just three innings. Franco moves to 1-1 on the season.

Third baseman Sal Stewart scored two of the three runs for the Lookouts while going 2-4 on the night. Overall Chattanooga had eight total hits but only one extra base hit, a double by Stewart.

The Smokies and Lookouts will face off again in Chattanooga for a 11:15 est game.
