Skate Station, a roller pop-up hosted by Dazey Skate Company, will once again take over the iconic Chattanooga Choo Choo's dome building, May 31-Aug. 2.
Throughout the 10 week-long run, Skate Station will feature a range of themed parties and meetups including Swiftie night, 80's night, Pride Skate and more. In addition to the parties, Skate Station will offer learn-to-skate workshops, providing opportunities for beginners and enthusiasts alike to sharpen their skills on wheels. Every Saturday night, the Skate Station dance floor will feature live, local DJ sets.
"We are excited to show the community all of the upgrades we have made this year, the skating experience has been elevated with a high quality skate floor and barricades, creating an exciting activity for families to enjoy while beating the heat," said Randi Franklin, owner of Dazey Skate Co. "Whether you're a seasoned skater, a first-timer, or just want to observe, there's something here for everyone to enjoy.”
Skate rentals will be available for the whole family, ranging from toddler size 7 to adult men's size 13. Admission is $10 with add on quad or inline rental skate, rental safety gear, and “skate helper” options. The rink can also be reserved for private parties, email randi@dazeyskate.com for more information.
